About Hope By The Sea

Hope by the Sea, located in San Juan Capistrano, is an outpatient treatment center for adults and young adults of all genders with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. To accommodate clients’ varying needs, the facility offers partial hospitalization programs, intensive and traditional outpatient care, along with aftercare services.

This facility uses a client-centered approach, with customized treatment plans that can include individual therapy and group counseling, addiction education, cognitive behavioral therapy, anger management training, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention strategies, discharge planning for sustained recovery, trauma counseling, case management, and life skills education. The treatment center also offers specialized programs for veterans and executives as well as family recovery programs.

Hope by the Sea is licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services and accredited by The Joint Commission. It accepts insurance plans from select insurance providers including BlueCross BlueShield, TRICARE, United Healthcare, and Aetna.
