This sober living home is just a stone’s throw away from the Attleboro Arts Museum. It can make for a fun afternoon when you need to get out during recovery. It’s an excellent way to expand your horizons as you build your new life away from addiction.

Peers Helping Peers

A unique aspect of this program and others like it is that residents are expected to help each other as needed. This ranges from keeping up on house chores to being there when someone faces a challenge in sobriety. Everyone must be willing to lend a hand to help lift each other.

I think putting this expectation on residents is a good idea. When you’re recovering from drug or alcohol addiction, knowing how to communicate so you can ask for help is key.
