Hillside Residential Treatment Services Monroe Campus in Rochester, New York, is a residential campus that offers various services to adolescents who are experiencing struggles with their mental health. The residential treatment program here is designed to help adolescents learn essential skills that can help them navigate their lives. They take a trauma informed approach to care, ensuring you get the appropriate treatments for your recovery needs. Through therapeutic counseling and activities, you'll get to the root cause of your struggles and will begin building healthy habits for a lifestyle of sobriety and wellness.

You'll work with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners and therapists. They follow the Children and Residential Experience (CARE) model here. This is designed to help empower you to build essential recovery skills. You learn how to identify triggers that have contributed to your struggles and how to manage negative thoughts and emotions.

There are also clinical services here that revolve around including your family in your recovery. You’ll also be supported through dialectical behavior therapy, trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy and therapeutic crisis intervention. They offer educational services through the Hillside campus school. You’ll also find therapeutic recreational services that allow you to explore your interests and hobbies in a safe and supportive environment.
