Following a comprehensive mental health and chemical dependency assessment, the emergency medicine team will determine the appropriate level of treatment and make a referral to the outpatient program at Emerywood, or the inpatient program. Most programs include individual and group counseling, family therapy, skills training, relapse prevention education, recovery meetings, and medication management.
