Wichita County Center for Adult Behavioral Health, Substance Abuse, Veterans and Crisis, is part of the Helen Farabee Centers network. They specialize in substance abuse and mental health conditions. They provide access to community-based programs and support services so everyone has the resources needed for mental health and addiction challenges. The goal is to help people achieve productive lives in their communities without the use of substances. You'll find 'em out in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Their outpatient program provides screenings that help the team determine your particular recovery needs and goals. You’ll receive individual treatment plans based on those needs. If the outpatient program is not a good fit, they may refer you to their detox or inpatient program locations for assistance.
You’ll attend individual counseling sessions to work on developing healthy coping skills for life’s stressors and learn relapse prevention strategies for the future. Group sessions allow a secure space with others in recovery who may share similar backgrounds and experiences. They provide a supportive network and may give you valuable feedback related to your sobriety. Family counseling is included and is helpful for restoring relationships with loved ones affected by addiction challenges.
They also teach substance abuse and chemical dependency education so you can learn more about the disease of addiction. Day and evening programs are available for busy adults needing more flexibility due to jobs or home life activities. They also offer afternoon youth programs.
Case management is onsite to help you navigate the program. They may also provide referrals to higher-intensity care when appropriate. Drug testing is included to help ensure you are following the program and remaining sober.
Their team is committed to providing a caring, compassionate environment so you can recover from addiction and maintain long-term sobriety. It’s a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, which signifies a comprehensive treatment model.
