About Headwaters Counseling Fort Wayne

The Headwaters Counseling organization in Fort Wayne, Indiana served youths and adults who were seeking treatment for a substance use disorder or mental health struggle. Care was provided in an outpatient setting and consisted of individually tailored treatment plans designed to meet your unique recovery needs.

When you first sought services here, you’d work with a healthcare liaison who’d assess your needs and connect you with a therapist who will create an individualized treatment plan for your needs. For many recovering individuals, care would include support through the specialized substance abuse program designed to help recovering individuals on their journey to sobriety.

Counseling through the substance use program was offered in both an individual setting and a group setting. You’d work with similarly suited peers and licensed counselors to develop the skills you need as you move through your recovery journey. Among these skills was the ability to identify triggers, learn stress management techniques and coping skills when difficult moments arise.

Headwaters also offered other specialized services for individuals who needed other supports including seniors who needed mental health support and victims assistance programs.
