About Hazelbrook Community Recovery Center: Paradigm One

Paradigm One, the Hazelbrook Community Recovery Center provides services to help people in recovery with re-entry and maintaining sobriety. The center in Aurora, Colorado offers several programs that promote a healthy lifestyle and long-term recovery including peer support, life skills classes, performing and visual arts classes, financial health classes, sober events and activities, and employment readiness training.

The center also provides fitness programs that support physical and mental health. Classes include strength and conditioning, boxing, yoga, and jiu-jitsu, and there is a fully equipped gym with weights and cardio equipment. Fitness classes are free to everyone and the only requirement to attend is 24 hours of sobriety.

A stand-out service of Paradigm One is their Transitional Safety Zone. It offers men and women a safe, supervised residence where they can fully detox from all substances, so they can move on to the next stage of recovery.

Services provided at the Transitional Safety Zone include programs for symptom relief, peer recovery support, counseling services, and a relapse prevention group. After graduating from the program, clients can move into one of Hazelbrook’s sober living homes to continue their recovery journey.
