Using the matrix approach, clinicians will help you in creating a structured and substance free lifestyle. Ongoing support can be provided in matrix groups three days per week.

The continuing care group meets once a week and talks about topics like recovery skills and relapse prevention. Here you’ll have the opportunity to participate in sober activities and create a sober support network. If you need extra support, case managers can guide you through housing and employment support.

Some former clients have expressed frustration at a lack of organization in hospital communication. However, feedback from people who’ve received services at Hu Hu Kam is positive overall, with clients saying they appreciated the kindness and respect they got from the staff.
