About Gateway Recovery Center

Gateway Recovery Center is a drug and alcohol detox facility for adults. They’re located in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. Insurance programs, including Medicaid, are accepted. You will have the option for private pay.

Adults have to be at least 18 years of age or older for treatment. They provide medical and clinical detox. Inpatient detox is available if you are struggling with addiction, substance use disorder or a co-occurring disorder. You will be in an upscale and warm environment.

Beginning with your detox needs, you will first undergo an assessment. The assessment will help the staff create your custom treatment plan.

You will have a full comprehensive care team that provides full coordination throughout your length of stay. Your team will consist of an admissions representative, clinical case manager, medical staff and a continuing care coordinator.

I like that you have 24/7 access to coffee and snacks. They have a full service dining center. The shared recovery suites are spacious and have luxurious showers. You’re allowed to smoke in the outdoor patio area.

While you’re in treatment, you will attend individual and group therapy sessions. You’ll also participate in peer support groups. That way, you can learn from others and share your experiences.

I like that your clinical case manager will work with you in both a group and individual setting. They are able to provide you with support and guidance. The assistance they provide is specific to your current situation, medical history and your goals. They will also provide updates and plan for your next steps.

You’ll graduate with an individualized continuing care plan. The plan will be different from other individuals as it is dependent on your needs. Your next steps will be arranged. Your next step may be residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), outpatient (OP) treatment, sober living or possible mental health treatment. They can provide referrals if need be.
