About Frontline Foundations
La Porte, Indiana, has a small town atmosphere and a beautiful natural environment filled with lakes. There are year round activities, including a farmer’s market and various festivals. You’ll also find Frontline Foundations here, which provides intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) to treat addiction in adults. Health insurance usually covers at least some of the cost of addiction treatment.
Outpatient Treatment in La Porte
The IOP at Frontline Foundations includes individual and group therapy. It’s a faith based program that uses the 12 Steps as part of treatment. Family counseling is available as well.
One unique part of the IOP that stands out to me is their art and music therapy. These therapy options can help people access emotions that have been locked away from the more reason oriented or logical side of the mind. Art and music also give you a unique way to express yourself that talk therapy alone can’t provide.
Other parts of treatment include identifying substance use triggers, learning healthy coping mechanisms, and creating a relapse prevention plan. They may also have medication assisted treatment (MAT) for those who struggle with opioids or alcohol.
Peer Support and Other Recovery Services
The center also has peer support available. Peers have been through the same challenges you face and can give you first hand advice. I appreciate that their peer counselors may also connect you to ongoing recovery resources such as recovery support groups and other community resources.
Amenities
Private drug rehab provides a comfortable, secure environment that allows you to focus on doing the work to get your life back on track. Benefits include a higher staff-to-client ratio, increased one-on-one time with therapists and healthcare providers, private rooms for clients, and customized forms of therapy.
Yoga and meditation are great activities to support your recovery process during alcohol or drug rehab. These therapies have been around for centuries, and they are an effective way to improve well-being. Combining addiction treatment, yoga, and meditation can reduce cravings, improve sleep, relieve anxiety and depression, provide stress relief, promote relaxation, support emotional healing, and improve energy levels.
In order to maintain a sense of autonomy, many private rehab facilities offer clients the ability to choose their own private rooms. The privacy and personal space ensure that the recovery process is as comfortable as possible.
Business centers are a preferred amenity in many mental health and addiction recovery facilities and typically feature secure, high-speed internet, computer stations, printers, and related business technologies. Business centers are designed to enable professionals and students to continue to participate in work or school activities without leaving the treatment facility.

Levels of Care
Indiana outpatient rehab focuses on providing tools necessary to stay sober. This involves several weekly counseling sessions and involvement in at least one support group, such as NA or AA, for several weeks or months. During that time, you’ll learn how to replace unhealthy habits with healthy ones and prevent relapse.
The moment your initial treatment ends, aftercare rehab in Indiana begins. Multiple aftercare resources are available to help you confidently re-enter life and maintain sobriety. This support may last for a year or more, providing assistance with counseling, job coaching, budgeting assistance, and other life skills.
