About Friendship House Women’s Lodge
Friendship House Women’s Lodge is an alcohol and drug rehab center for expectant mothers and women with children aged 0 to five years old. They offer a residential treatment program to help clients understand their substance abuse disorders and work toward long-term addiction recovery. Most clients are American Indian, though the center is inclusive and open to all qualifying clients. Services are based on a social model approach, where clients participate in group activities while receiving individual counseling and support. In addition to Western-based treatment modalities, providers also incorporate therapies based on American Indian cultural practices.
Their residential treatment begins with a 30 day blackout period, during which clients have no contact with individuals outside of the program. This is a reflective time that allows them to start recovering in a distraction free environment. During and after this period, they will begin their individualized treatments, which include individual and family counseling, case management services and relapse prevention training. Aftercare services include technology training, career development, housing assistance and educational services to help clients successfully re-integrate into society and maintain their sobriety.
Friendship House Women’s Lodge may accept multiple insurance plans, such as Cigna, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Beacon, United Healthcare and more. Be sure to check with the insurer to verify out of network benefits and other coverage information.
