About Freedom House

Freedom House was a drug and alcohol treatment center that provided a structured and supportive environment for adult men seeking recovery from substance use disorders. They’re now closed, but they were previously located near Lake Dardanelle. The facility combined evidence based treatment with a holistic approach focused on rebuilding lives and fostering long term sobriety.

30 Day Residential Rehab for Men

Freedom House offered a residential program primarily designed for alcohol and drug dependency. Clients would participate in daily structured schedules featuring group and individual counseling, educational sessions and relapse prevention. The standard program lasted a minimum of 30 days, with extensions up to 45 days based on individual needs. Each client would receive aftercare planning and discharge support as well to ease their transition into continued recovery.

Specializing in Men with Difficult Circumstances

This program served adult men aged 18 and older but they particularly focused on those facing challenges such as homelessness, unemployment or legal involvement. The center emphasized rebuilding life stability through therapy, education and accountability, which I find to be an impressive and comprehensive approach.

Clients frequently commended the compassionate and professional staff, noting a strong sense of brotherhood and mutual support that encourages healing and accountability.

Affordable Dorm Style Rehab

Freedom House accepted Medicaid and offered a sliding fee scale based on income. Insurance was not required, and self pay options were available to ensure access for all who sought treatment. I like that if you were having a hard time affording rehab, they would work with you to find options.

The dormitory style facility offered a peaceful recovery setting with shared rooms, recreation spaces and outdoor access. I like that the program integrated holistic, 12 step informed treatment with life skills, peer support and relapse prevention strategies led by experienced staff who often were in recovery themselves.

Located near Lake Dardanelle State Park, the center offered scenic access to hiking, fishing and boating. Clients could also enjoy nearby Bona Dea Trails and Sanctuary for reflection, along with Russellville’s parks and community centers.
