Serving Unique Populations in Farmington, New Mexico

One of the things I noticed about this treatment facility is the special populations they serve. They provide culturally relevant treatment for Native Americans, especially those in the Navajo community.

Additionally, they understand the unique challenges that clients in the LGBTQ+ community face. They help pregnant and postpartum clients, Veterans and active duty personnel, and clients who come for court mandated treatment.

The facility is only a few miles from Berg Park and convenient to US Route 64. The park offers access to the Animas River and scenic views. They have a trail system for jogging, walking, and biking, and it’s a popular place to see deer, prairie dogs, and geese.

Integrating Addiction and Mental Health Treatment Modalities in New Mexico

I think it’s great that the residential program offers 30 day and 90 day programs with longer term addiction treatment and support available. The programs integrate educational, psychological, medical, and social services. Clients stay in private rooms with desert scenery and have access to a fitness center.

Medical detox services are also available and include 24/7 monitored withdrawal management. MAT is also available for clients who need help with uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms and cravings that continue after detox.

Helping You Transition Out of Treatment

Discharge planning, continuing care, and transitional housing are also part of the program. The transitional housing helps clients bridge the gap from the inpatient treatment environment to independent living. The programs tailored to youth and adolescents integrate education in the substance use treatment programs to ensure clients continue their academic progress.
