Three Phased Residential Treatment Program for Men

I find it helpful to know that their program is designed for men struggling with addiction and includes a three phase, 12 month residential program to lead you towards recovery. The first phase of their program lasts for 30 days and is considered their “blackout” phase when you’re fully immersed in your recovery. They help you through therapy, address what led to your addiction and develop a relapse prevention plan.

Phase two is a seven month long program that incorporates the healing stage of your recovery. They also work on life skills counseling and preparing you to be patient and resilient for the remainder of your journey to sobriety.

Phase three includes the last four months of your treatment. I find it good to know that this is when you are required to work full-time and address any remaining goals you may have towards your recovery. It is also the time to prepare for independent living following your treatment at Four Rivers.

Aftercare Residential Accommodations for Graduates

Phase four is only offered to those who graduate from the program. It provides aftercare residential accommodations in a dorm-like setting among your peers. I think it’s helpful that the rooms are single occupancy so you have your privacy, with the facility offering a separate living room and bathroom for communal sharing. You are also provided with meals, access to the kitchen and their laundry room. There is a weekly fee for residency in this program.

Nearby you can access Route 75 for transportation to and from your treatment. They are also close to natural landmarks including Herman Baker Park and Fairview Park.
