About Foundations
Foundations Counseling and Consulting of Wyoming is proud to be part of the community, located in beautiful Cheyenne. They have built a welcoming space where adults and minors will always be treated with respect. Foundations know that reaching out for help isn’t always easy, so they want you to know you don’t have to go through this challenge alone.
Outpatient Services & Specialties
At Foundations, they believe in working together. The substance abuse programs are led by licensed professional counselors with over 20 years of experience. Treatment is structured to support abstinence with medication-assisted options available.
Level I Outpatient offers one-hour weekly group sessions. It can be suitable for those who don’t need much supervision. Level II.1 intensive outpatient (IOP) offers three-hour sessions three times a week. There’s also case management and individual therapy.
What makes Foundation stand out is, not only do they have evening groups, there are also specialized women’s groups. Their aftercare supports long-term recovery with weekly sessions for three months. They also offer a 12-week Marijuana Diversion education program, where Foundations is in partnership with the local District Attorney’s Office.
I saw that clients are also drug tested regularly. What’s so cool about this program, it‘s designed to help first time offenders reduce probation and avoid additional charges.
Accreditation
While families look for support, being CARF accredited, Foundations gives a peace of mind. It shows the organization values quality, feedback and ongoing improvement.
More Than Treatment
Foundations help to make the process as comfortable as possible. Since 2010, Foundations have been able to help many, making them a stable in the beautiful community of Cheyenne. With “Big Boots,” Cheyenne offers local attractions where Foundations’ clients can unwind and relax when not in sessions, such as Cheyenne Botanical Gardens, the Wyoming State Museum. I think that clients can relax and clear their minds on beautiful trails at Frontier Park or Holiday Park.
What’s amazing is, you choose what feels right for your own personal growth.
