Foothill is a coed residential facility for detox and substance use disorder in Spanish Fork, Utah. Clients looking to detox from substances before entering rehab are screened over the phone 24 hours a day, with intakes done 7 days a week. During the medically supervised detox, you’ll work with a therapist, case manager, and nurse to determine your individual needs and will remain in the program for 3 to 10 days. It depends on the intensity of your withdrawal symptoms.

Inpatient treatment for substance use typically lasts for 30-90 days. During this time, you’ll engage in various services. These include individual and group therapy, gender-specific treatment, and medication management. Foothill also offers medication assisted treatment. This is a combo of prescription medication and therapy. Medications curb cravings and reduce withdrawal symptoms, enabling clients to concentrate on the counseling that will address the underlying causes of their addiction.

Payment is typically made with Medicaid. However, as there are several types of Medicaid, you should check that your coverage includes mental health treatment. If you don’t have insurance, funding may be available for some services. Self-pay options are also available.
