About Fedcap Behavioral Health Services

Fedcap Behavioral Health Services closed its Bronx, New York office in 2022. While it was operational, it was dedicated to helping adults living with mental health and co occurring disorders through outpatient support services. They shared in the Fedcap group’s overall mission to challenge societal norms about disabled and otherwise hindered people to be happy and productive members of society.

While it’s true that the Bronx location is closed, Fedcap’s presence is still felt throughout New York, and their education and vocational programs.

The Chelton Loft

While the closure of this office is unfortunate, the good news is that some of its partner services are still around. That’s the case with The Chelton Loft, a place where adults struggling with addiction, mental health or homelessness can visit six days a week to get help for their health, career, or just get something to eat. This service is located in Harlem.

Plotting Your Professional Future

I like that this location’s many vocational support services live on, too. A big part of Fedcap’s mission is work support for those with or without disabilities. I especially like their Career Design School, which gives clients hands on training in the field of their choice and gives them a space where they can develop their skills.
