About FCC Behavioral Health Stapleton Center

The Family Counseling Center Behavioral Health (FCCBH) Stapleton Center in Hayti, Missouri is CARF accredited and NHSC approved. This facility treats adult substance use disorders and offers intensive residential treatment services.

Qualifications for Potential Clients

To qualify for treatment at the Stapleton Center a client must have a substance use disorder/dependence diagnosis determined by a licensed diagnostician. This diagnosis can be obtained at one of the eight behavioral health clinics that are part of FCCBH or the Primary Care Clinic in Kennett.

Care and Services for Substance Use Disorder

There are four levels of care available here. Residential includes 24-hour supervision, 60 hours of therapy activities, and clinical services. Level I Day Treatment Service and Level II Intensive Outpatient Treatment Service transpire Monday through Friday for six hours and the duration is based on individual needs. Level III Outpatient establishes the client with community support groups and counseling.

Services offered include alcohol and drug education group discussions, dual diagnosis treatment, medication assisted treatment (MAT), nursing services for overall health, and drug screens. Residential services allow weekly family visits and offer family counseling. Therapeutic recreational activities consist of social, fitness, cultural, athletic, leisure, and communal activities.

The Substance Awareness Traffic Offender Program, sometimes court ordered by the state of Missouri, is offered at this facility. A required screening process at the Offender Management Unit of Missouri determines which of four levels the client will be required to complete.

Across the street from the Stapleton Center is Hays Supermarket. Chubby’s Barbeque and The Other Place are nearby restaurants. A couple of hours away is the Mark Twain National Forest where clients can hike and camp.
