About Center for Family Services
Family Guidance Center in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, provides outpatient counseling services for children, adults and families. Their behavioral health outpatient program treats a variety of mental health conditions including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD and substance use disorders. They can provide you with medication monitoring and education about your mental health and addiction that can help improve your decision making and work toward long-term recovery.
They also address issues with post-traumatic stress disorder, relationships, and school and workplace challenges. While each of these diagnoses is separate, they can complicate treatment, necessitating integrated and coordinated care to address each diagnosis simultaneously.
Here, you can address addiction recovery in outpatient programs. They also provide specialized Family Support Services and counseling for co-occurring disorders. They recognize that there are different paths to recovering from addiction and substance use disorders. Your path will be founded on a comprehensive evaluation of your needs. The behavioral health outpatient program is fully licensed and accredited so you receive care that has been validated and undergone rigorous assessment.
You can refer yourself for outpatient treatment. They can also accept referrals from your primary care physician or the criminal justice system. They may accept most major commercial insurance providers, Medicaid, Medicare and funds from the Division of Child Protection and Permanency, New Jersey Department of Children and Families and the New Jersey Office of Victim Witness Advocacy. If you are uninsured or underinsured then other state funding might be available to help pay for services.
