About Enterhealth Outpatient Center Of Excellence
Enterhealth Outpatient is an addiction treatment center located in Dallas, Texas. They provide outpatient treatment for individuals who are dealing with co-occurring and substance abuse disorders. Services available here include medication management, group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), emotional transformation therapy (ETT) and alumni support.
The convenience of an outpatient treatment model means you’ll have lots of time to explore all that Dallas has to offer. From cultural exhibits like the Dallas Museum of Art to natural wonders like the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, the city is filled with places to enjoy. The diverse and expansive healthcare industry is also a major part of the local economy, boosted by facilities like Enterhealth.
EMDR is utilized to help treat posttraumatic stress disorder. This therapy is used to help restore brain function and improve memory, providing your brain with more space to develop new memories. When receiving EMDR, the sessions will range anywhere from six to 12 sessions and a therapist will provide you with coping skills to use for you to use if you are experiencing difficulty.
Therapy is provided through their Intense Therapeutic Classes program. This program centers on psychoeducational courses that teach you the skills you need for recovery. You’ll meet Monday through Friday, one to five days each week. Each class is 1.5 hours to four hours long. The number of classes you’ll attend is based on your unique needs and treatment plan. Your instructor may incorporate a variety of evidence-based therapies into your courses including rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy and more.
Something unique about this facility is that it also offers EMTT. This is an evidence-based approach that uses wavelengths, light, and eye movement to help combat and heal emotional distress. This therapy monitors eye movement and incorporates light therapy as well as wavelengths to help combat negative emotions. These tools, combined with visual stimuli, provide a comfortable and nurturing atmosphere to help you build resilience and reduce impulsive behaviors.
There’s also a robust alumni program here. This a great way for you to stay connected with others, especially the peers you completed treatment with. This can create a sense of belongingness and community, motivating you to develop a social support network. Their Alumni Association program hosts events and recovery support meetings.
