Emerson Hospital Behavioral Health is a medical facility that provides support and treatment options to individuals who have a mental health struggle or a substance use disorder. This hospital setting provides care through a half day intensive outpatient program. There are specialized programs for children, adolescents and adults.

Through their intensive outpatient program, you'll be supported with treatments including individual and group counseling, motivational interviewing and case management. You’ll also have access to evidence based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. Through these therapies you’ll learn critical skills like stress management techniques and coping skills.

As you move through the program you also are supported through aftercare planning so that you can create and work towards realistic recovery goals. With these goals you can begin building healthy habits that will help you work toward sustainable sobriety.
