About Eleos Wellness and Support

Previously known as PEMHS, Eleos Wellness and Suppor is a non-profit mental health provider. They operate from Pinellas Park, Florida where they run a number of services from crisis intervention and inpatient care to community programs. Eleos has gotten a gold seal from CARF.

Their crisis stabilization services are short-term, urgent help for adults who are in crisis. They can get you assessed, give you medication and therapy, and help with aftercare planning. Their emergency screening access center is open 24/7.

People who need inpatient care are admitted for crisis hospitalization. They also run a mobile crisis response team. Within 60 minutes of your phone call, a team can meet you at work, school, home or storefront. This team is available 24/7 on demand. This team includes master’s level therapists, social workers and other licensed professionals.

Their JARF program gives youth under 18 access to detox services. Teens are kept in a safe and secure space while they go through the withdrawal process. This program can also help with early intervention and substance abuse detection. Families can contact them with questions or concerns they have about their youth.

Eleos offers a suicide prevention hotline. They receive up to 7000 calls every month and give callers immediate intervention and compassion while they are in crisis.

Their IMPACT team treats people who have a co-occurring disorder. If you or your loved one is dealing with mental illness and substance abuse, this team can help. They provide assessments, safety planning, service coordination and referrals. They’ll connect you with the resources you need to improve your quality of life. They are the least restrictive setting for people who need support. The goal of this team is to help clients work towards stability and independent wellness.
