Integrated Services for Recover in Gary

This location is Edgewater Health’s main facility, but their addiction services are mostly at their nearby Turning Point Center. This treatment center offers a variety of services to adults who are suffering from addiction. I like that their programs aim to help both you and your support system.

They have abstinence based outpatient programs that address alcohol and drug addiction, including cocaine and opiate addiction. They have DUI services too. I find it refreshing that Edgewater Health acknowledges that you need the freedom to carry on with your daily life so an intensive rehab facility may not work for you. This is why they designed their outpatient programs to be so comprehensive.

Edgewater Health’s Turning Point/New Life Center also offers a medication assisted treatment (MAT) program for opiate addiction. This program is great because it includes both individual and group counseling as a full approach to recovery.
