Serving the community of Marlboro, New Jersey, Discovery Institute is a comprehensive drug and alcohol rehab center. Here you’ll choose from detox, inpatient addiction treatment, or an intensive outpatient program. All programs are holistic and also treat mental health disorders. Discovery Institute’s goals are to help empower you to overcome your addiction and lead a fulfilling life in sobriety.

The residential addiction treatment program lasts between 28 to 90 days. They allow no more than nine residents at a time. Your treatment program will be individualized and include a combo of group and individual therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and medication assisted treatment. During sessions you’ll uncover addiction triggers and identify maladaptive patterns of thinking. Then you’ll learn how to develop healthier thoughts and behavioral patterns.

The intensive outpatient program is ideal for people who have a safe and sober support system at home. This program includes nine hours of treatment sessions per week. You’ll be introduced to the 12 Steps, and you’ll take part in group sessions that focus on relapse prevention.

Discover Institute provides psychoeducation lectures that’ll educate you on the disease of addiction. You’ll be recommended to attend AA or NA meetings outside of treatment as well.
