About Dawn Farm Spera Recovery Center
The Spera Recovery Center is part of the Dawn Farm community of programs. The center is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They’re licensed by the State of Michigan and are a tax exempt, non profit. The organization is also CARF accredited.
They provide detox services to adults struggling with addiction. Their program provides emphasis on developing a sustainable plan for your ongoing recovery.
If you are their client, then your detox stay will be of no charge. If you do see an outside provider, their fee will be your responsibility.
The average length of stay is about five days. Their detox program is a social detox program. This means that they do not prescribe medication for withdrawals.
If there are risks with your withdrawal, they’ll coordinate with another provider or their local emergency department. Coordinating that care will help increase your safety. However, as noted above, that may accrue costs that you’ll be responsible for.
Their counselors complete your initial assessment. They will also develop your treatment plan that will consist of attending daily mutual aid meetings. Counselors will monitor your withdrawals, as well as facilitate groups.
You’ll also be supported through GED prep, employment support, and specialized services like art therapy. You’ll also have access to family counseling services where you can work on relationships with your loved ones.
You will work with your counselor to develop a plan to continue your recovery. You’ll discuss and coordinate your treatment options. Your ongoing treatment options may include residential/inpatient rehab, outpatient treatment, (OP) or recovery support services.
