About Davis Archway Mens Halfway House
Davis Archway Men’s Halfway House is a transitional living facility for men in the late stage of recovery from substance misuse in Butler, Pennsylvania. A halfway house can be beneficial if you’re looking for a structured setting to ease your transition back into everyday life after residential rehabilitation. It helps you transition to independent living without facing stressors that could lead to relapse right after leaving inpatient treatment.
The Davis Archway Halfway House offers accountability, structure and supportive services that foster lasting sobriety. This three phase program is designed to help you gain self-awareness and greater independence that inspires personal growth in recovery. You’ll participate in group therapy and weekly individual counseling to build coping skills, tackle personal challenges and receive personalized guidance. Group sessions provide a supportive environment where you can share experiences and learn from peers facing similar challenges.
You’ll also attend 12 Step meetings within the community to connect with others in recovery and gain encouragement for your journey. They even offer family programming and individual family sessions. This strengthens your support network through improved communication and relationships with loved ones. You can also take advantage of their optional church service to connect with others in the community and find additional support for your recovery journey. You can gain valuable job skills that set you up for a great career via their volunteer services. They also offer educational services like GED training.
Exercise and recreation are vital components of these programs. The facility boasts a sand volleyball court, half basketball court, bonfire pit and horseshoe pit that you can enjoy for recreation. You can use local parks and recreational facilities off site as well. Having fun and enjoying life while being clean and sober makes for a fantastic recovery experience. It’s expected that by the time you graduate from the program you’d learn to balance recovery with life responsibilities, build a positive support group and gain employment.
