About Curran Seeley Foundation
The Curran Seeley Foundation and the Community Counseling Center merged in 2022 to form the Mental Health and Recovery Services of Jackson Hole. They are now a nonprofit behavioral health center located in Jackson, Wyoming. The organization is CARF accredited and certified by the State of Wyoming.
They kept the former Curran Seeley Foundation building as a dedicated space for their substance use programs. Their outpatient programs are offered to men, women and adolescents. Insurance is accepted. If you’re uninsured, they offer a sliding scale fee. The fees for your service will be based on your household income and size.
Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides individual and group counseling. You attend therapy every day during the week. Some topics that will be discussed during your group sessions are relapse prevention and life skills. I like that men, women and adolescents are in separate programs. By being in separate programs, each group is able to address specific challenges they face.
They have a coed adult outpatient program that meets twice a week for group sessions. Individual counseling is also available. Another outpatient program they have is the gender specific outpatient dependency program. You meet every week for six to seven hours.
What stood out to me is that they have bilingual therapists who are Spanish speaking. The aftercare program also stood out to me. This program is offered as a free lifetime service if you are a graduate from their intensive outpatient program. They have co-ed groups and separate men, women and adolescent groups. These groups meet up weekly to provide ongoing support.
