Neither strictly a drug rehab or an eating disorder recovery clinic, it tackles both effectively and is one of the few facilities to do so in both Maine and New England.
Residential treatment is designed to be intimate, and as a 10-bed program, it’s recommended for women who would benefit from the safety and comfort of its routine structure and the guaranteed 24/7 support of its staff. Partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient play host to similar treatment modalities as the residential program. Family involvement is a key element, as part of both educational and counseling sessions, as well as 12-step work. Relapse prevention, along with individual, group, and couples therapy are also included.
Parenting and child support services are available, with specialized support for both pregnant and post-partum people. The facility also offers a ‘Driver Education and Evaluation Program’ (DEEP) for individuals who have committed driving under the influence (DUI). Crossroads is certified to offer treatment, evaluation, and education for these cases, including counseling.
