About Cristo Rey Community Center

Located in Lansing, Michigan, Cristo Rey Community Center is a nonprofit basic needs service center. The parenting program teaches essential skills for parents with children aged zero through six. Sessions may focus on topics like healthy communication and how to discipline children without the use of physical punishment.

Roots and Wings is a free parents and teens program that helps families define clear boundaries and develop healthy communication skills. This is aimed at children aged seven through 17.

People who’ve used the services at Cristo Rey Community Center say they have a great staff that really helps you when you need it. Other people say this facility provides warm meals, AA meetings, crafts and a food pantry.
