About CREOKS Okemah Clinic
CREOKS runs 24 clinics throughout Eastern Oklahoma. Their CREOKS Okemah Clinic provides outpatient mental health services and community support. CREOKS also operates a sober living facility in Okemah. Through a partnership with the state mental health and substance abuse services department, they provide treatment to Oklahomans who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access the help they need.
Addiction Treatment and Crisis Intervention
Their CARF-accredited substance use program includes outpatient treatment, crisis intervention and case management. They treat children, adolescents and adults by offering an integrated substance abuse and mental health program. I like that they work with folks involved with the criminal justice system.
Their crisis intervention program is available to any Okemah resident who is facing an urgent need. They provide stabilizing resources and next-step planning for any crisis you might experience. They are available in person or over the phone to get you the immediate support you need, when you need it.
Case Management and Community Integration
Case management and service coordination are two offerings that I find extremely beneficial for clients. These services can help prevent or minimize complications as well as empower patients to make informed decisions and get the services they need.
Another excellent service is community integration. People with mental health issues should have equal opportunities for housing, work and community engagement. This service helps clients with these situations through advocacy and support. I can imagine that this could be a vital part of a person’s healing and recovery.
