About CRC Health

Bordered on the east and north by San Jose, the city of Campbell, California, is where you’ll find Acadia’s The Camp Recovery Center. The Center provides adult outpatient care for addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. The program is an intensive outpatient program (IOP), which provides flexibility for clients to work or attend school.

Acadia accepts a wide range of insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Optum, Humana and more. They may accept Medicare and Medicaid, but you’ll need to contact them to be sure.

Intensive Outpatient Care for Adults in Campbell

The IOP treatment program at The Camp Recovery Center primarily provides group therapy. I saw that they can also offer individual therapy as needed. The group topics include anger and stress management, 12 Step education, addiction education, and relapse prevention.

They also provide group therapy topics that are helpful for those with relationship issues, especially within their family. You can learn about family systems, setting healthy boundaries, and effective communication skills. These skills help you long after treatment ends and will help you build a strong sober support network.

Personalized Treatment and Continuing Care

I noticed that Acadia’s IOP is based on the 12 Step recovery model. They provide a personalized treatment plan and help you set goals at the beginning of the program. When the program ends, they encourage you to find a local 12 Step support group that fits your needs to continue getting support in recovery.

Before you leave the treatment program, the staff at The Camp Recovery Center will help you create a discharge plan so you know what community resources, ongoing treatment options and support groups are available for your ongoing care.
