About Consolidated Substance Abuse Counseling Center
Consolidated Substance Abuse Counseling Center (CSACC) is a non-medical program at Marine Corps Base Quantico providing substance abuse counseling services to active duty Marines, Sailors, and their families. The center offers screening, assessment and individualized treatment planning. CSACC emphasizes readiness and recovery within a military installation setting, delivering care designed to support fitness for duty and lasting change.
Treatment for the Marine Corps Community
One of the core focuses I found is providing structured outpatient substance abuse treatment tailored to the unique needs of service members at MCB Quantico. The center is staffed with certified substance abuse counselors and a medical officer who deliver clinical evaluations, personalized treatment plans and aftercare services for eligible personnel and beneficiaries.
Sessions focus on screening for substance misuse, assessing severity and readiness and counseling to address underlying patterns of use. Treatment includes referral coordination, follow-up support, and strategies to maintain sobriety and compliance within the military environment.
Prevention Education and Compliance Programs
Beyond treatment I found that the center offers prevention education and specialized programming to reduce substance-related incidents. The Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program provides a structured class for Marines who have violated Marine Corps alcohol policy. These services combine accountability with education to prevent future issues.
CSACC provides services in person at Cox Hall, Camp Barrett.
