You can refer yourself or you might be referred from a community program. Evaluations happen by appointment or during the clinic's walk-in hours.
The multidisciplinary team includes masters level and licensed clinicians, certified substance abuse counselors, and clinicians. They have expertise in a variety of mental health and addiction specialties.
There's also a psychiatrist on staff who provides medication management when it's needed for mental health conditions or substance use disorders. During your intensive outpatient program, you participate in group therapy sessions and individual sessions for approximately three hours per day over three days per week for roughly eight to 10 weeks.
If you have any downtown, the Norwalk River Valley Trail is just next door, and Union Park is just a couple of blocks away. You can unwind and clear your mind.
Additional services may be included in your program, including stress management, recovery reintegration, medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorders, and relapse prevention.
