Connecticut Renaissance’s has a behavioral health clinic in Norwalk, Connecticut. Since 1967, they’ve provided services related to criminal justice, substance abuse, gambling, and mental health for men, women and adolescents, including gender- and culture-specific groups. Intensive outpatient programs are available here.
They have certified substance abuse counselors, master’s level licensed clinicians, and specialists in social work, marriage and family counseling, and other mental health and addiction fields. In order to handle medications, they also have a psychiatrist on staff.
Their intensive track is available day and night and is centered on treating people who have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Group therapy sessions are provided for eight to ten weeks, three hours a day, three days a week. In addition, they offer medication-assisted treatment services such as Suboxone maintenance for opioid use disorders. There’s also motivational enhancement therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, relapse prevention, stress management, individual, couples and family therapy, and recovery reintegration.
A supervised community alternative to incarceration is their ASIST Program. They offer clinical and criminogenic services.
