About CONCERN – Professional Services for Children, Youth & Families
CONCERN – Professional Services for Children, Youth & Families is a nonprofit behavioral health and family services provider in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania offering outpatient mental health treatment and foster care with adoption/permanency services.
The Bethlehem office supports children as young as age two through adults with a continuum that spans outpatient counseling to more intensive behavioral health services. Clients in need of intensive substance use treatment are referred to a local provider.
CONCERN's approach is client centered and strengths based which I believe is focused on resilience, wellness, and independent functioning within the community.
Behavioral Health Programs for Youth
Care typically begins with outpatient counseling, psychiatric evaluation, or Intensive Behavioral Health Services for youth and young adults up to age 21. Services extend across a continuum from outpatient treatment to more intensive options based on client needs.
Clients can expect therapy, family and marriage counseling, group therapy, parent-child interaction therapy and school based outpatient services, behavioral health homes and medication management, and case management.
I found that cognitive behavioral therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis are also part of the program offerings.
