Columbia Berrywood is one of the centers of The Compass Health Network. It’s a nonprofit located in Columbia, Missouri. Behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment is provided to adolescents and adults. They accept Medicare, Medicaid and provide a sliding fee scale.

Upon beginning your outpatient treatment, the staff will conduct a comprehensive assessment. They do the assessment to make sure they are able to provide you with the correct services. If needed, they are able to provide co-occurring mental health services.

They provide a person centered integrated care approach. With their psychiatry services they are able to provide medication assisted treatment. I like that the psychiatrists have to be specially trained in order to provide the medications. I also like that with the medication assisted treatment, you will receive counseling and other services for behavioral health.

Since they are accredited by CARF, they provide individual, group, family, and co-dependent counseling. They also offer group education classes and you will have peer support.
