About Columbia Wellness

Columbia Wellness is a nonprofit addiction treatment and behavioral health provider in Longview, Washington offering a full continuum of substance use and mental health services across Cowlitz, Grays Harbor and Wahkiakum counties.

Programs include outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment, co-occurring care, withdrawal management and 24/7 voluntary admissions through the Wellness & Recovery Center.

As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, I think it's valuable that Columbia Wellness delivers integrated care that brings primary care, mental health and addiction treatment together under one regional system.

Substance Use Treatment Programs

Treatment often begins with a SUD assessment or, when needed, medically supervised withdrawal management at the Wellness & Recovery Center, which also provides behavioral health diversion beds and brief psychiatric residential care.

I want to note that self referrals and around the clock admissions help clients access support quickly.

From there, adults can step into outpatient or intensive outpatient programming, group treatment, life skills groups and medication assisted therapy.

Youth ages 13 to 20 receive individualized and group counseling, with support for juvenile justice, court and probation requirements. Clinicians use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and ARC approaches.
