About Clearfork Academy | Teen Boys’ Campus
There are a lot of good things I have to say about Clear Fork Academy in Fort Worth, Texas. They are a faith-based treatment center that helps adolescents between the ages of 13 and 17 overcome substance misuse and mental health challenges. The center on Hanger Cutoff Road is for boys.
They use spirituality for detox and even treat co-occurring conditions. They offer both residential and outpatient programs for their clients and also help address self-harm behaviors and ideas of suicide.
Flexible Care
As I learned about their outpatient programs, I noticed how flexible their options were. Options range from day treatment to intensive outpatient (IOP) care. These include individual and group therapy, family counseling, and managing your meds. This level of care allows the client to return home in the evenings after services have ended.
They use several popular therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. I really like their general philosophy on therapy and how they incorporate the entire family to play a role in the healing process.
