About West Central Behavioral Health

West Central Behavioral Health Child and Family Services offers outpatient treatment to those with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in Claremont, New Hampshire. They’re funded by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Community Service Block Grants, Community Mental Health Block Grants and other state, county, and government funds. They accept military insurance, Medicare, Medicaid and other state financed health plans. Services are available for clients who are deaf or hard of hearing. Telehealth services are provided for those unable to attend sessions in person.

Treatment for Children and Families

Treatment is designed for adults, children and adolescents aged 3 to 18 and their families. Military families have a dedicated treatment track as do individuals experiencing post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I think it’s helpful that kids and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances (SED) are welcome here as well.

24/7 Mobile Crisis Response Team

Individual and group counseling focuses on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), activity therapy, and trauma therapy. Ancillary services such as integrated primary care and case management are also provided. I found that they also offer crisis intervention services through their 24/7 Mobile Crisis Response Team.
