About West Lebanon Comprehensive Treatment Center

Comprehensive Treatment Centers (CTC) is a nationwide network of outpatient medication assisted treatment (MAT) centers for those struggling with opioid use disorder. The West Lebanon, New Hampshire center provides MAT along with counseling services for adults in the community.

CTC accepts multiple insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid and private plans. They also have self pay options.

Medication Assisted Treatment for Opioid Addiction in West Lebanon

MAT uses FDA approved medication to help clients avoid withdrawal symptoms while transitioning off opioids. These medications also help you manage cravings and lower the risk of relapse while you’re in treatment.

Treatment at the West Lebanon CTC starts with a medical history, physical exam and basic testing. They’ll also ask you about your goals and any previous treatment you’ve been in.

The West Lebanon CTC supplies buprenorphine, methadone or Suboxone for MAT treatment. They’ll give you an assessment to determine which medication is right for you and at what dose.

Therapy for Long Term Sobriety

The CTC also provides evidence based group and individual therapy with the goal of helping you challenge existing mindsets and habits and create new ones that support a life of sobriety. I think it’s important that CTC recognizes that medication alone won’t solve addiction and that this therapy is a necessary part of recovery.

Group therapy helps you understand others’ stories and share your own. Everyone can also share support for each other. These sessions allow you to feel less alone in your struggle and gives an opportunity to start making healthy friendships.

Individual therapy allows you to get to the root of your substance use and determine what choices you can make going forward to help you avoid triggers and relapse and instead choose a healthy, vibrant life.

I think it’s great that not only will you have a dedicated opioid addiction treatment center but you’ll also have the backing of the large CTC organization, which can make it easier to continue your treatment if you travel or move.
