I've found that their programs are goal-oriented rather than time-limited, with individuals committing to at least 90 days and most staying 12 to 24 months.

Long-term recovery services include 12-step facilitation, individual and group counseling, case management, life skills training, job readiness, spiritual development and peer recovery coaching.

Getting Help with City Gospel Mission

The programs serve adult men and women struggling with substance use and other life-controlling issues. Clients must be detoxed from all substances for at least 5 to 7 days before admission. I've found that they need to be committed to a structured, faith-based Christian recovery environment.

The organization also operates a women's recovery campus and administrative offices throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.

Treatment and Program Cost

Programs are offered at low to no cost. The men's residential program costs $300 per month and is based on income. The facility works with financial aid including grants and scholarships.

Private insurance is not accepted. They do accept Medicaid, Medicare and self-pay.
