About Choctaw Nation Recovery Center

The Choctaw Nation Recovery Center is a residential facility for adult men living with substance use disorder. The inpatient program is only available to those with a CDIB from a federally recognized tribe. Members of other tribes who’re applying must live within the Choctaw reservation. Members of the Choctaw tribe can live anywhere and still be eligible for treatment.

The program lasts for 60 days. Applicants first undergo a phone screening before they’re admitted. You’ll likely be placed on a waiting list, since space is limited.

Residential treatment for substance use disorder includes individual and family counseling, group therapy, and relapse prevention education. There’s also 12 Step education and instructions along with coping skills.
