The Recovery Resource Center offers comprehensive assessments, tailored referrals, peer support, and a variety of resources for those seeking help with addiction. They keep care accessible by accepting walk-ins but making an appointment is recommended for the best possible service. Because assessments may take up to two hours, new clients should arrive before 2:00 pm.

Need a helping hand? United Way 2-1-1 Connect connects Alabama residents who dial 211 with a wide variety of social services. Callers can get connected to basic resources, such as food, clothing, and help with rent, utilities, and housing. You can also get help with health insurance enrollment, medical and addiction treatment, employment support, adult and elderly care, child care and support, and military and veteran services.

If you’re looking for help with addiction, The Recovery Organization of Support Specialists (ROSS) provides a wide range of services across the state, including a 24/7 helpline. All services are free of charge, including six community recovery centers, outreach programs, opioid treatment peer support, women’s programs, programs for justice-involved individuals, opioid overdose prevention training, and more.
