About Center Point DAAC
Serving the community of Santa Rosa, California, Center Point–DAAC is a comprehensive addiction treatment organization. They’ve been around since 1969. Here you’ll find outpatient addiction treatment programs, medication assisted treatment (MAT), and dual diagnosis mental health support. They also offer specialized support for criminal justice involved individuals, pregnant women, and adolescents.
Effective and Flexible Treatment Services
Center Point offers two levels of outpatient care: an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and individualized outpatient care. Each person will be assessed when care begins to place you in the right level of care. The intensive outpatient program is the most structured level of care with three hours of group counseling three days per week and one hour of individual counseling per week. They offer daytime and evening IOP schedules to accommodate your work and personal responsibilities. They also plan to add a weekend program in the future.
The individualized outpatient program is more flexible and includes a number of group and individual sessions that are manageable with your schedule. Between sessions, you can relax at local offsite greenspaces, like Steele Lane Park or head over to the local ice rink.
Center Point’s medication assisted treatment program is called Redwood Empire Addiction Program. The MAT program uses methadone to assist in healing from opioid addiction. They also include group and individual counseling, as well as morning dosing hours. The MAT program is free to anyone with Sonoma County Medi-Cal, Medicare, and Kaiser Permanente.
Transformative Addiction Treatment for Teens
The adolescent IOP blends telehealth counseling sessions with in-person activities. This program lasts 10 weeks and focuses on building foundational recovery skills and addresses unique challenges that adolescents face. Modules will cover topics like recognizing triggers, stopping destructive cycles, relapse prevention, and developing critical thinking skills. This program is ideal for teens who’re beginning to struggle with substance abuse and want to build healthier lives.
