About Center for Discovery Edmonds

The Center for Discovery Eating Disorder Treatment program serves minors ages 10-17 who need support for an eating disorder that is impacted by drug use. They use a range of therapies in a residential or outpatient setting. There's also an intensive outpatient treatment program and a partial hospitalization program that can provide more flexible care. They're located in Edmunds, Washington.

Eating disorders are not usually stand-alone disorders. For many recovering individuals, eating issues are accompanied by substance use or other negative habits. Sometimes, drug abuse can fuel eating disorders or vice versa as clients use drugs to lose weight.

Once you enroll, you'll work with a team of experienced medical professionals who'll create an individualized recovery plan to meet your unique needs. For example, you’ll work with doctors, counselors, registered dieticians, and others to get you back to your loved ones and community.

Your treatment will consist of various evidence-based therapies including counseling sessions, nutritional support, and skills development.
