Cenikor Foundation in Tyler, Texas, provides a full continuum of care for adults struggling with substance use disorders. They offer detox, inpatient care (IP), a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and outpatient care (OP). All programs use medication assisted therapy when appropriate. Aftercare is a complimentary program provided to treatment graduates for two years following completion of their other programs.

This detox and residential facility has 37 beds and provides around-the-clock care for people as they begin the recovery process. During these programs you’ll engage in 12 Step meetings, recovery coaching, and relapse prevention. Your length of stay will depend on your individualized treatment plan and goals.

Medication assisted therapy (MAT) may be used to ease withdrawal and reduce drug cravings. One thing I like about this facility is that if you live in Harris, Marcos, or McLennan counties, you may qualify for an MAT scholarship.

The structured partial hospitalization program is held five days per week for approximately six hours per day. This program is identical to the intensive residential treatment, but you get to go home at the end of the day. The standard outpatient program is part time care that includes psychoeducation and 12 Step integration.

After graduating from treatment, you can return to attend alumni events and one on one recovery coaching. Fun sober events will keep you engaged and connected to the alumni community.
