Cenikor Odyssey House provides comprehensive addiction recovery services for adolescents aged 13 to 17 in Houston, Texas, including residential, outpatient, and aftercare programming. Specialized services are available for adolescents with co-occurring addiction and mental illness.
Clients receive medical and mental health assessments, personalized care planning, and case management. They also engage in intensive individual, group, and family counseling drawing on proven modalities, including CBT. The program promotes clients' sustained sobriety and successful reintegration into their home, school, and community through robust, age specific life skills training addressing topics such as coping, self care, emotional regulation, anger and stress management, decision making, communication, relapse prevention. An accredited, on site day school is available. Clients may participate in extensive Independent living skills training, including academic and vocational education and courses related to job readiness, financial management, and household management. Their evidence based complementary therapies include fitness and recreational therapy, creative arts and expressive therapy, and experiential therapy.
Their aftercare services ensure a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs and may include step down support, peer coaching, and referrals for medical, mental health, and social service programs. They are CARF accredited. Payment options include private insurance, Medicaid, financing, sliding scale payment schedules, financial aid, and self pay.
