About CASPAR Summit Avenue
Operating under Bay Cove Human Services is the community non profit organization Cambridge and Somerville Programs for Addiction Recovery, also known as CASPAR. This is a program in Sommerville, Massachusetts that helps men and women from all walks of life receive supportive and evidence based care for their addiction recovery needs.
You'll find a continuum of services offered through CASPAR including gender separated residential homes, emergency services, emergency shelters, community outreach services and specialized support for recovering adults who have disabilities or are experiencing homelessness.
Wraparound Support for Your Recovery
One of the biggest services of the CAPAR program that I find brings the most value to clients here is their wraparound services. The team here really meets you where you're at in your recovery journey and helps connect you to the right services to guide you.
Their emergency shelters offer homeless individuals a positive point of contact where they can learn about addiction recovery services offered here. I also value their supportive care of vulnerable individuals including those who are disabled or have co occurring mental health struggles.
You'll be met where you're at in recovery and you'll get connected to the support you need for a healthy and fulfilling future.
Person Focused, Evidence Driven
I find that the approach to care here at CASPAR is person focused first and addiction treatment second. After the team gets to know you, understand your circumstances, and what your recovery goals are, you'll then get directed to the appropriate recovery program for your needs.
Supports include individualized care, case management, addiction counseling, education, and more intensive support like transitional housing and residential care to see you through long term sobriety.
