About CADAS (Council for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services)
The Council for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, also known as CADAS, has a location in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is a community based organization that provides a range of services to adults and adolescents who are experiencing drug or alcohol use disorders. Here, you’ll have access to a range of supports including residential treatment and general and intensive outpatient care along with supportive housing options.
Through both residential and outpatient care, you can get support including medical detox if your unique recovery needs call for it. Through this type of treatment, you’ll have access to FDA approved methadone and Suboxone. These medications can help you manage painful withdrawal symptoms that often happen during detox. It can also help you manage cravings that will pop up during your recovery. Medical detox happens under the support of trained and experienced staff.
There are also specialized programs here including an adolescent program and housing support. As you exit residential care, you can get connected to safe and secure housing so that you can continue building healthy habits. There’s both transitional housing support and support through the affiliated Oasis Halfway House.
Other services you’ll find here include individual and group therapy. You can build a strong support network that you can lean on. You’ll also develop essential skills and healthy habits that will help you maintain your journey toward sustainable sobriety.
I appreciate that they provide intentional care to adolescents who are navigating recovery. They offer age appropriate therapies that empower children and teens to find success on their journey to a healthy lifestyle.
