About Buffalo Adult and Teen Challenge

A short distance from the Kensington Expressway in Buffalo, New York, you’ll find a faith based residential recovery home for men known as Buffalo Adult and Teen Challenge. They can take up to 35 males, 17 years and older. The men become a peer led recovery community.

If you’re experiencing addiction and mental health challenges, they provide licensed therapists to help you. You’ll meet with them once a week to work through thought processes and mindsets that may hinder you living free from addiction.

What stood out to me about this program is that you’ll be trained in skills for career development. They cover topics such as interview skills, resume writing and auto maintenance as well as finance and budgeting.

You don’t need insurance for treatment at this center. They offer their services at low or no cost. Many people have found lasting change through this center. Some say that the program is tough but change is possible when you have the motivation.
